Stephanie Macli

I discovered my love for Pilates in early 2000 while studying for my BA at Quinnipiac University. I was an athlete all my life, but Pilates was the only method that really focused on the quality of movement. It gave me the strength and stability I needed. I became a certified instructor in 2008 by completing a 600+ hour apprenticeship at Power Pilates Studio in New York City, under the leadership of Bob Liekens and Susan Moran-Perich.  In 2010 I began working at Bridge Pilates in Brooklyn, NY. I had the very unique and special opportunity to work and learn under Blossom Leilani Crawford for 10 years.  I credit Blossom with teaching me the ability to critically look at each body and to think outside the box to create tailored workouts.
My approach as a teacher is to customize each Pilates session, focusing on my client’s individual needs and goals. I love how every body is different. I stress awareness, while creating balance, building strength and flexibility, and discovering how the method integrates into your everyday life.
I am forever curious and I continue to take classes and workshops to further my knowledge and to enhance my teaching. My education and experience covers the full spectrum of classical Pilates and its application to all bodies. I love Pilates and sharing the system with my clients

Jessica Sansone

Jess Sansone has been teaching since 2003 and was certified through The Pilates Studio of New York, now known as Romana’s Pilates. An avid martial artist in Kung Fu, Kajukenbo, and a runner for many years, Jess experienced a sacroiliac joint injury and found that Pilates was the only form of exercise she could practice without re-injury. Inspired by the precision and control of the Pilates Method, Jess chose to study Pilates seriously and began training to be an instructor in 2001. In 2009, while pregnant with her son, she experienced a separation of the rectus abdominus muscles, a common occurrence in pregnancy. In her efforts to reverse this, she worked with a Physical Therapist to master the unique care needed in working with pregnancy and postpartum clients to ensure the chosen exercises are appropriate to their needs. Jess draws on her training, years of teaching experience and personal physical challenges to customize safe and challenging workouts. When Jess isn’t in the studio, she enjoys weight training, playing with her family, cooking and spending as much time as she can outdoors.

Cara Moorcroft

Cara is a classically trained Pilates teacher. She graduated from The Pilates
Center’s Advanced Teacher Training program in 2016, studying under Erika
Linton and Suzanne Staehr at The Pilates Workshop in San Francisco. She
also completed the Kathy Grant Heritage Training in 2019 with Cara Reeser.
From 2017- 2021 Cara owned a small private studio in Marin County,
California. In 2021 she relocated to Brooklyn, NY. When she is not teaching,
Cara is busy navigating the lives of her two teenagers. Her ideal weekend
would include live music, a good meal with friends and family, fresh air and
always movement!
Physical fitness has always been a part of Cara’s life; she was a competitive
swimmer in high school and college. As an adult she remained passionate
about physical fitness and found she was happiest when moving. After having
children, she began to feel the effects that childbirth and a sports-filled youth
can have on an adult body. That’s when she found Pilates. She was amazed
at the Method’s unique ability to challenge and strengthen her whole body.
Instead of aggravating old injuries, her Pilates practice healed them. She
decided that the only thing better than finding her own physical fitness
through Pilates was to teach others to do the same. She remains amazed and
inspired every day by the genius of Joseph Pilates and the benefits of the
Method he created.
